Meet our Pastor

Every divine purpose for God's people starts with an initial call. While Moses was tending the flock in the desert, God used a burning bush to capture his attention and reveal a greater plan for his life.

Similarly, Covenant Family Christian Center was born when God stirred the heart of His servant, Rev. Mathias, while he was at work. Upon moving to Greensboro, NC, in 2006 with his wife, God began nudging Rev. Mathias to gather the unsaved and lead them to the saving power of the Lord.

Initially, he thought it was just his mind. However, one evening in the summer of 2011, while at work and meditating on scriptures during his break, he heard the audible voice of the Holy Spirit say, "Gather my sons and daughters and teach them my covenant word."

With these clear words from the Holy Spirit, Rev. Mathias, his wife, and a few brethren, with much preparation, went to work and birthed Covenant Family Christian Center (CFCC).
